Located in Vancouver, British Columbia, the downtown east side is Canada's poorest postal code. It's also the location for a thriving open air drug market and INSITE, North America's first and only, government sanctioned safe injection site.

In this progressive film, 2 women, both recovering addicts, are followed for 6 months, as they reveal how they manage to remain free of drugs while still living in the drug ravaged neighborhood.
